Where Kantiang Bay is
Kantiang Bay is near the southern tip of Koh Lanta Yai, on the island’s west coast, the side with the beaches. It is the most low-key of the island’s main beaches: a small, sheltered bay with fewer crowds, and a short scooter ride from Mu Ko Lanta National Park at the southern end of the island. Our two villas, Villa Siam Lanna and Villa Ayutthaya, are a 5–7 minute walk from the beach.

Getting to Kantiang Bay
A private van from Krabi Airport takes about 2.5 hours door to door, and from Phuket Airport about 5 hours. Both cross to the island by car ferry; the ferry fee is included, and the driver waits if your flight is late.
When to come
The dry season runs from November to April, with sunny days and calm seas for island trips. December to February is the peak season, so book early; May to October is the green season, when some boat trips run less often.
